CELEBRATION! ART DESIGN CRAFT is the last event of The Bascom's annual fundraising trilogy. The weekend of September 30-October 1, will salute The Bascom's artistic mission by bringing to you superlative examples of fine craft from around the country. These are not your ordinary "crafts", but the “Maserati” of three dimensional arts in ceramics, fiber, metal, wood and glass.

Friday evening the tone is casual and fun with Cashiers Farmer’s Market "never-get-enough-of" barbecue and dancing to the classics of the 60’s 70’s and 80’s are sure to get you moving.

Saturday night on The Bascom Terrace will be an elegant seated dinner with both live and silent auctions of works created by masters of the craft genre with the finest examples of craft being made in America today. Additionally, the evening will feature the opening of Tools in Motion a fascinating kinetic sculptures exhibit.

You know The Bascom's unique success story and how it has impacted the quality of life on the Highlands Cashiers Plateau. People marvel at the incomparable fine art center in such a small community. But as a non profit, the quest for funding is ongoing if success is to continue. We need your help.
